Welcome to the Hawthorn class 21/22! What a wonderful year we are having.

This year Hawthorn class teacher is Miss Hayden, with Mr Miller on Thursdays and Fridays.

Our exciting theme for this half term is ‘How can you grow like Frida Kahlo?’, we’re going to be learning about her art but also looking at the sort of person she was and how she influenced society. We will be learning about plants and what they need to survive. Did you know Frida Kahlo was an excellent horticulturist?

Our PE days this year are Thursday and Fridays. All children should make sure they bring in their PE bags and leave these in school.

 Please keep an eye on this class page. On here, you will find homework, spellings and newsletters. It will also give you an opportunity to see some of the children’s learning in class.
