Jemmy Button Freeze Frames
Today in Engish, we explored the thoughts and feelings of Jemmy Button when the visitors had bought him. We asked, how did this make Jemmy feel? Did he want to go with the visitors? Did he understand what was happening? We worked in groups to create freeze frames of the scene where the visitors give Jemmy’s parents the button and then used thought tracking to explore what the different characters were thinking at feeling at that point of the story.
