Welcome to the Beech class page

We hope you had a lovely half term and enjoyed some rest. We are very much looking forward to another half term of learning.

Our topic for this half term is ‘How have toys changed over time?’

The children will be learning about how toys have changed over time. They will be looking at what types of toys their parents and their grandparents played with as children and comparing these to what they play with themselves now. They will also be looking at how the types of toys we play with change as we grow from babies.

At Robert Bakewell we firmly believe that reading is the key that opens doors for our children. Please ensure that you hear your child read daily and record this in their diary so that they can earn points towards our fabulous reading prizes.

Please keep an eye on our webpage as we will upload photographs on a regular basis, to showcase the wonderful learning that is going on in our indoor and outdoor classrooms.

Our homework is sent home half-termly, and has a selection of activities and please bring completed work in for showing to the class at the end of each half term.
