Shape Rockets

This week the children have been making rockets using 3D and 2D shapes. The children have been discussing what shapes they have been using but the main focus was to design their own rocket. They have been working out how they would like their rocket to look and structurally what works. Asking and answering questions such as should the rocket be wider at the top or bottom? How tall can their rocket be without it coming apart?

The children have created some fab and unique rockets. I am sure you will agree.
