Line, tone and Texture

In art this week the children created their own print block. This was so they could explore how to create an image with different sized lines, add texture and vary tones of colour. The children made their own print block using pipe cleaners, thread, wool, elastic bands and wrapping these materials around thick cardboard. Then the children got to dip them into paint and see what lines they managed to make.
