How can we use clay to make an Ancient Greek pot?

In Art this term, we are looking at using clay to create an Ancient Greek pot. We have looked at repeating patterns and the different styles of pot they had during that time. We used a lesson to experiment with clay, creating different shapes and manipulating the clay to mould into the correct form. We will be making coil pots so the class loved practising creating the coils. As you can see from the photos, they loved the lesson and I was so proud of how calmly they worked and how enthusiastic they were! A super job, Elm Class! I can’t wait for the final designs!
