What is an algorithm in Computing?

In Computing this term, we are looking at algorithms as part of a Coding unit. This week, we explored that an algorithm is a set of specific, step by step instructions in a computer programme. The class used Lego to create different shaped models, showing how you need to follow instructions specifically to end up with the correct end design. We talked about how if you make an error, it is called a ‘bug’ and therefore, we need to fix the problem by ‘debugging.’ The class were amazing at working together to follow the instructions and showed super understanding by the end of the lesson!
