Invertebrate hunting!

As part of our Science unit this half term, we have been looking at how animals are classified. We have learned about vertebrates (mammals, birds, fish, reptiles and amphibians) and invertebrates. We then headed out into our grounds to discover what creatures live in our local environment. The children found earthworms, snails, slugs and beetles.
