How do Muslims celebrate Eid?

The school have been very lucky this week to have some visitors in to run a workshop all about Eid! This was great as we have been learning about it during R.E lessons so we got to show off all of our knowledge, as well as learn new information from someone who actually celebrates Eid themselves! We learnt songs, did some dancing and also got to look at some special objects, such as prayer mats and items of clothing, as well as smell some traditional perfumes! It was so informative and we were very appreciative of the visit!
