Beech

Welcome to the Beech class page

The children in Beech are having an amazing year so far and are all continuing to work very hard. Our final topic this half term is ‘Where are we going?’

The topic provides opportunities for the children to learn all about different ways we can travel. We’ll also be learning about the United Kingdom and surrounding seas, compass points and directions.

Please keep an eye on our webpage where we upload photographs of work on a regular basis to showcase the brilliant learning which is taking place.

The class is taught by Miss Laverick and the PPA cover is Miss Compton. We have 2 wonderful learning support assistants working with us. Mrs Adams works Monday & Tuesday, then Mrs Onions works with us on Wednesday, Thursday & Friday. Throughout the week, the children get the opportunity to go to the outdoor classroom, where they are taught by Miss Biles.

Our homework is sent home half-termly, and has a selection of activities. Please bring completed work in for showing to the class at the end of each half term.

We do PE twice a week and kit will be sent home at the end of each half term. Our PE lessons are on a Monday and Wednesday.

If you have any questions then please do not hesitate to get in touch, either at the end of the day or via the class email-
