Our Family

This week we have been looking at the story ‘Our Class is a Family.’ by Shannon Olsen https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rw9NstM1Q4E

In this wonderful book, we took a closer look at our classroom and the people within it and felt that we too, felt like a family. We discussed how we spend a lot of our time together during the day and reflected back on shared experiences that we have enjoyed together as Class Ash so far. We talked about different ways we can show our friends how special they are to us by making friendship bracelets and necklaces, making cards and writing kind messages to each other and simply enjoying the company of our friends in the provision. We also wrote about who our friends are and how they help us at school.
