Blast Off!

The children really displayed many of our character muscles during this activity. They were put in pairs and then were told to make a rocket to take the astronauts to space using reclaimed materials. Lots of opportunities for talk and problem solving were used and the children really listened to one another and compromised when needed. They were really pleased with the finished results and couldn’t wait to use them in their play. MAybe you could make some more at home together.
