Who is Steven Brown?

The children are really enjoying learning about the Scottish artist Steven Brown and using his artwork as inspiration for our own art. So far we have looked at his one of famous pieces the McCoo and creating our own. We then looked at images of other animals he has painted and used his technique of using bright colours to create colourful strokes on other animals using paint and cotton buds as well as pastels and pencil crayons. Next term we will be having a go at using pallet knives like he has done in his work.
