Stop, drop, roll.

The Year 1 children have been learning some valuable safety advice from the Leicestershire and Rutland Fire service. The children have been told what to do should they ever find their clothes catch fire with the STOP, DROP and ROLL method, ensuring we cover our face with our hands in order to protect our eyes, nose and mouth. The children also know how to gain the attention of adults and crawl on the floor to reduce smoke inhalation. We also learnt all of the other roles fire fighters play in helping out in all sorts of different emergencies.
