Owl Babies

We have enjoyed exploring the characters in this popular story this week as part of our learning about birds. The children gave some thoughtful responses as to why Mother Owl may have left the nest in the middle of the night. They had fun creating pictures of the baby owlets using sponges and paint as well as their own owl masks using both paper and natural materials. Look at how cute they look. We have also learnt facts about what makes a bird a bird too so please ask your child to share these with you.
