Life-skills in D&T

We enjoyed a busy week of cooking to lead us into the half term. When we asked the children what they had learnt during our Design and Technology based learning, they said:

“I learnt that healthy food can taste nice.” “I realised how long it takes so I’ll be less impatient at home.” “Cooking is fun!” “You can cook better when you work as a group.” “Carbohydrates give you energy.” “Home-made food can taste better than shop bought food.”
