How can we make strong structures?

As we continue with our DT unit, we looked at how to make our structures secure. The only resources the children were given were pieces of wood, straws, glue, safety pins, blue tac and card. They were brilliant investigators and explored the different ways to strengthen their structures. they have some great ideas now ready for making their toys!
