Sawing Wood for our Light Boxes

We had a brilliant time using the junior hacksaws to chop our strips of wood for our light boxes. We had to measure and chop 8 pieces at 15cm and 4 pieces at 2cm. The children integrated their mathematical knowledge with their DT knowledge to successfully cut their strips!
