Viking Day!

The children were introduced to our new theme for this half term on Monday. We started the day by learning when the Vikings were around why they came to the UK. The children then explored the Viking alphabet, using it write their own messages. During the afternoon the children learned all about Viking shields, studying their design and then making their own!
