Writing in role!
Our novel this half term is ‘Jemmy Button’ by Alix Barzelay. This week we have been thinking about the main character Jemmy and the contrasting emotions he would have felt throughout the different events of the story. The children wrote in role as Jemmy, concentrating on using powerful language, adverbials and rhetorical questions.
