Y2 Pirates

Year 2 have been learning about the history of the Jolly Roger flag as part of their topic "What does X Mark?" They found out that each pirate had their own version. They were bold in design so that they could be seen from afar at sea, and also terrifying so that people gave up their treasure without a fight. This made life much easier for the pirates. The children then designed their own Jolly Roger flags. Are they terrifying? We think they arrrrrr! What do you think? #teamARRRRB
