What patterns can we find outside?

We have been looking at patterns, both regular and irregular. We looked at lots of examples in artwork and then decided to see what patterns we could spot around us outside in nature! The children loved exploring our outdoor environment and rubbing the patterns onto paper with wax crayon. Can they spot any more patterns at home?
