Layers of the Rainforest in the style of Jo Sheppard

We recently learned about how local artist Jo Sheppard uses wax resist to add layers of detail to her local landscape paintings.

We used that skill to help use create a landscape painting of a vey different place. A rainforest!

We learned that rainforests have 4 layers to them. The emergent layer, the canopy, the understory and the forest floor.
