How can we keep fit?

Over the last few weeks, we have been learning about why keeping fit is important - how it helps our bodies become stronger and how it helps our minds too. We have been doing lots of different activities to help increase our stamina, such as skipping, shuttle runs and activities and speed bounces.

Using what they had learnt over the last few weeks, the children worked together to create their own fitness activities to share with the rest of the class. They had to explain how to complete the activity and model it clearly too. They had such a great time but also felt that their fitness had improved too.
