Helping on the farm

Today we spent part of the afternoon helping out Farmer Rae on the farm. She gave us the job of collecting all of the fallen leaves before giving us a tour of the farm. The children collected an incredible amount of leaves and were very interested to learn that they would all be going off to Farmer Rae’s friend who breeds insects!

We especially enjoyed spending time with the animals and even managed to stroke a few and collect some eggs too!
