Forensic Workshop

This week we were very lucky as we got to take part in a forensics workshop where we learnt about the different types of fingerprints, DNA and clues that might be left behind at crime scenes. Our visitor asked if we might be able to help her solve the mystery of the missing money using our new knowledge.

We loved using the magnifying glasses to search for clues, using them to identify the type of fingerprints and footprints that were left behind before comparing them to our suspects. We also found items which we thought belonged to certain people, such as glasses. Using what we had found, we made a good guess as to who the culprit was - and we were right!
