Queen

To commemorate the Queen’s long life, along with her service to the United Kingdom, today the children have been learning about her Royalty. As part of our topic this term: Where do I belong? The children discussed how the Queen was Head of State of the United Kingdom and now she has passed we now we have a King.

To mark our respects to the Queen all the children ordered her life in pictures, made Buckingham palace out of shapes, drew a portrait of the Queen and the year 1’s produced writing on the facts they knew about her. As you can imagine corgis and crowns where mentioned throughout.
