Hedgehogs

The children have been learning facts about Hedgehogs this week.

They have made their own hedgehog out of air drying clay and cocktail sticks. The children had to shape the piece of clay to include the hedgehogs snout and body and of course add ears and ears. The cocktail sticks were to be the spines for the hedgehogs back. However, the we did not have enough cocktail sticks (or time) to count out 5000 cocktail sticks for each creation as that is how many a hedgehog has on it’s back.
