Week 1 In Beech Class

The children have been settling into their new classroom and getting used to the rules and routine of the school day.

In literacy the book focus has been ‘The colour Monster’. This has meant the children have been able to discuss their emotions and what colours they think of when they themselves are happy, sad or angry.

Within RE the children have been painting and writing about what they think is amazing about the world. Some children said ‘a ghost shark because they move majestically’ or ‘rainbows because they are beautiful’. While others thought more about people they love and the places they themselves like to go to.

The children have also been counting and using the interactive whiteboard.
