Welcome to the Beech class page

Welcome back to the final part of the Summer term. We hope you have had a fun and restful break and are ready for our new topic.

Our learning question for this half term is, ‘What is a plant?’

We will begin by looking at different plants that we can see in our school grounds and discuss similarities and differences between them. Children will then learn about the different parts of a flowering plant and the role each plays in supporting a plant to grow. Children will grow a range of different plants and will be responsible for taking care over them. Children will also learn how we eat different parts of plants and will help prepare different dishes with what has been grown.

Mrs Altimas is your class teacher supported by Miss Allan and Miss Jones.

Ms Mistry supervises the outdoor learning area.

Our PE days are Monday and Tuesday.
