Odd Socks

The children enjoyed showing off their odd socks today, in support of Anti-Bullying week. We had a good discussion on why being the same as everyone else was not important but instead, celebrating our differences and respecting these, was much better. We listened to the story of Elmer the Elephant and agreed that standing out from the crowd was best for Elmer as it allowed him to be himself instead of pretending to be something he wasn’t.
