The Colour Monster

In English we have been reading The Colour Monster. The children were very good at recalling the emotions that linked to each colour and enjoyed expressing various emotions with their faces. The children are also good at recognising colours and can match objects to colours. Reception children have been showing me their careful cutting skills using scissors, as they cut out their colour shapes. Year 1 children have been writing sentences about what colour emotions they were feeling. They were great at remembering that sentences needed a capital letter, finger space and a full stop.
