Happy Diwali

This week we have been learning all about the festival of Diwali. The children have heard a story from the Hindu faith of Rama and Sita and the link between light and dark during this celebration. Ask your child to explain who the characters Rama and Ravana are from the story. Use the video below to help.

The children also had a wonderful morning participating in an Indian Dance workshop. You can tell by the smiles of how much they enjoyed themselves. It was lovely to see the children really engaging with the session and they even asked to do more dancing back in class!
