Get Counting

This week the Reception children have been focusing on counting carefully and matching the correct numeral to the quantity. We recognised that either lining objects up or moving them across physically, helped us ensure we had counted all objects. However we could not do this if objects were static. Instead we had to look carefully and count in rows horizontally or vertically.
