Celebrate Differences

Many of us wore odd sock’s today to help children understand that being different from each makes us unique and should be celebrated. We enjoyed the story of Elmer by David McKee and discussed whether Elmer should be happy that he was different to the other elephants. The class overwhelmingly said that Elmer should be proud to be different as it made him happy and made the other elephants like him more.
