World Book Day

The children have had a wonderful day being immersed in the wonderful world of books. It was great to see them all dressed up as various characters from our favourite books and listening to stories read by adults throughout the day. We also had the opportunity to see our brand new school library. We cannot wait to share some more stories in this magical room. In the afternoon we continued with our reading sessions where we could showcase our ever improving reading skills. We then re-told our favourite story ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’ which also became part of our classroom door design as part of the challenge Mr Bishop had set the school.
