Who built the ark?

We had Reverend Lockwood come and visit us this week to share a story from the Bible. We heard how Noah was instructed to build an ark and gather two of each animal before a great big flood was sent by God who was angry at how the Earth was being treated by mankind. The children also learnt that Christians see the rainbow as a sign of God’s promise never to send a flood again as he hopes mankind will treat his creation with love and respect. The children enjoyed acting out the story and explaining what the rainbow symbolised.
