Ramadan

As part of our RE this term, we have been learning about special times of the year within the Islamic faith. We are learning about why the month of Ramadan is special for Muslims and what happens during this period. We are very lucky to have some children who are Muslim who have been keen to share what happens in their homes during this time. We also had some visitors who also belong to the Muslim faith come and teach us more about why Ramadan is special to them and what happens during this month. They brought some artefacts with them that we could explore and answered any questions that we had.
