Harry and the Dinosaurs

This week we have looked at the book ‘Harry and the Dinosaurs go to School’. We used this text to explore our own feelings of starting school for the first time and what we could do to help each other feel more comfortable. The Year 1 children came up with some considerate ways in which they could make their new peers more comfortable in their new class. The children enjoyed making dinosaur friends for a new Dino starter called ‘Lonasaurus’ who was hiding in the classroom because he was too shy. Don’t they look friendly?
