Cress

To launch our topic the children have begun to plant a range of seeds so that they can watch them grow with their own eyes. We have started with cress seeds. The children watched the seeds sprout up very quickly within a week and were quite surprised that they grew with only needing water and light. The children then harvested their own cress to use when we made sandwiches. Some children were pleasantly surprised that they even liked cress.
