We had a firefighter come and speak to the children about fire safety. He demonstrated what to do in case of a fire in the home and how to get out safely. They all had a go at practicing the STOP, DROP and ROLL technique. Children were told to check they had smoke detectors at home. The children also had the opportunity to look at some of the equipment that they use when attending an emergency.
