What is inside a church?

During RE this term the children have been learning about what places are special and why. The focus recently has been about what place is special if you are a Christian and this weeks learning was all about what you would find inside a church. All the children drew key parts of a church such as a cross, stained glass windows, statues of Mary and Jesus, Lectern, Alter, candles, pews, Vicar, congregation and the Bible. Then we went outside and created our own church.
