Queens Jubilee

Alder class celebrated along with the whole school the Queens Jubilee. The children all made a piece of artwork for the Jubilee in preparation. They all made flags and then placed the Queens silhouette onto the flag. The flag was made out of different pieces of material such as tissue paper, card and cotton wool. The final touch was that the children all added a glitter crown onto the Queen.

For the Jubilee the children had some lovely activities to do throughout the day. They all got to dress as Royalty and made their own crowns in class. When lunch time arrived the children had a lovely picnic outside with the whole school. In the afternoon lots of parents and careers came and joined in with all the fun activities which had been organised to celebrate this special even in style.
