Fish

I hope you all had a restful Christmas and a peaceful New year.

The children have come back to school ready to learn and excited by our new topic: Would you rather be a fish, reptile, bird or amphibian?

To kick start this terms topic we have been learning about fish. We learnt that they live and breathe in water, have fins to help them move, lay lots of eggs and that they are a vertebrate as they are an animal with a backbone.

Today, we investigated some sardines and then all made an observational pencil drawing of them.
